Meet the Chiropractor

Hi my name is Dr. James T. Vigil. I have been married to my wife Holly for 14 years. We have four awesome children. I am a native of Colorado. I was born in Trinidad and grew up in Raton, New Mexico. I attended New Mexico State University, where I was a Crimson Scholar, prior to enrolling at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. I am versed in eight different chiropractic adjusting techniques. While attending Parker College of Chiropractic, I had the opportunity of seeing and hearing some of the most renown educators in the chiropractic profession. I graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in September of 1997. Upon graduation I practiced in Helena, Montana for three years as an associated Doctor of Chiropractic I relocated to Colorado and opened Vigil Family Chiropractic in Walsenburg in August of 2003.

I came to Walsenburg to help fulfill a growing demand and need for chiropractic here in Walsenburg and Huerfano County. I believe this need is due to a growing public awareness that natural health care methods play a vital role in the restoration and maintenance of health.

The chiropractic approach to better health is to locate and correct Spinal Subluxations. This is done through specific spinal adjustments to restore better motion and position to stuck and or fixated spinal joints that are pinching or irritating the delicate spinal nerves. This alleviates pain and symptoms and promotes health naturally with out the use of drugs or surgery. The chiropractic approach makes sense. It’s scientific, it’s safe, it’s natural and it looks to correct the underlying cause of the problem and not just mask the symptoms. An most important it works.

My purpose is to educate people on the philosophy and the benifits of Chiropractic because I believe that every one can benefit from chiropractic care. For the relief of symptoms and pain, to restore health and well being and to live longer and have a better quality of life.
